It was also the first to be constructed by Universal.

Universal's Volcano Bay

It is a water park. It’s like a theme park with lots of water. The big, red thing in the middle looks just like a volcano. You know that volcanoes can have water slides. These are the kinds of water slides that will make you want to run away if your kids or friends pressure you. If you prefer to go with the flow, there are chill options like a wave pool, winding river, and lounge chairs. It doesn’t get any chillier than this. It’s a South Seas paradise (and nothing says oasis quite like a volcano).

Water is life. Life is joy. This is Universal’s Volcano Bay(TM), Universal’s water theme park. This is the carefree attitude that the Waturi Islanders, the famed Waturi people, have lived on their Pacific island for centuries. This park allows you to live the Waturi lifestyle, where relaxation and thrills are in perfect harmony.

The South Pacific Islands’ water park is both vibrant and tranquil. Resort-like amenities and innovative menu options only add to its appeal. As you dive into island life, sip on a specialty cocktail and enjoy Polynesian delights.

Universal's Volcano Bay 2022

Rainforest Village is full of excitement, including Kala & Tai Nui Serpentine Body Slides and Maku Puihi Round Raft Rides. Punga Racers, Taniwha Tubs — Taniwha Tubes, Taniwha Tubes — Tonga & Raki. Tewa, the Fearless River. Oh, yah & Ohno Drop Slides. You can also take a dip in Puka Uli Lagoon.

Wave Village is home to tranquility thanks to The Reef and Waturi Beach, and adventure thanks to Ko’okiri’s Body Plunge. You can then drive along with the Kopiko wai Winding River at River Village. This river offers fun for children and their families at Tot Tiki Reef and Runamukka Reef as well as excitement for thrill-seekers at Krakatau Aqua Coaster.

TapuTapu’s innovative wearable technology further benefits Universal’s Volcano Bay. You will be given a wearable at the entry that will revolutionize the way you wait in line. It must be returned at the close of the day. You can simply swipe your wristband against a totem and be given a time limit to return. Your wristband will also reveal incredible surprises in the park!
